FAQ

  • Why invest in hazelnuts?

Hazelnuts are in high demand globally, with prices remaining relatively stable year-round. Driven by the food industry and growing interest in plant-based diets, this market is forecasted to grow steadily. Hazelnuts are resilient, wind-pollinated, and require minimal labor and chemical treatments compared to other crops, making them an efficient and sustainable investment.

  • Why is the hazelnut market attractive?

The market has shown long-term growth, valued at USD 12.62 billion in 2022 and expected to reach USD 21.34 billion by 2028 (CAGR 9.14%). Industrial demand is high, especially from confectionery and bakery industries, with major producers concentrated in Turkey, Italy, Chile, and Serbia. Climate change and reliance on traditional methods in some regions make modern, intensive hazelnut farming in Serbia particularly attractive.

  • Do you have experience in hazelnut farming and sales?

Yes. For over 43 years, we have cultivated bush-type hazelnut varieties, tested optimal planting techniques, and established more than 1,000 hectares of orchards in collaboration with investors. Our main varieties include Tonda Gentile delle Langhe, Tonda Romana, Tonda Giffoni and Tonda Francescana.
